It is commonly used for production injection and blow molds, as well as automotive components like trunk liners, wheel well liners, and bumper components due to its outstanding combination of high strength, hardness, thermal conductivity, and corrosion resistance. QC10 can be machined significantly faster than steel while offering uniform through-thickness hardness and machining stability, making it well-suited for large plastic injection molds up to 24 inches in size.
