Brass 260 balls (cartridge brass) are highly formable components made from a copper rich alloy (approximately 70% copper and 30% zinc), offering excellent corrosion resistance and ductility. Known as one of the most workable yellow brasses, C26000 is ideal for forming into precise spherical shapes while maintaining strength and durability. These brass balls exhibit smooth surface finish and good resistance to friction, making them suitable for both mechanical and decorative applications. While easy to cold form, this alloy is less suited for machining and should not be used in environments involving certain acids or ammonia exposure.
Applications: Valves, fittings, ammunition components, decorative hardware, electrical components, mechanical assemblies.
