Carbon Steel Round Bar 1144 Stressproof

Carbon steel 1144 "Stress Relieved" or "StressProof®" round bar/rod is normally used for industrial, machine, and tool applications. 1144 steel rod has excellent strength and hardness and is specifically treated to relieve stresses in the metal created during the manufacturing process. This means that the 1144 round bar is less prone to warping after it is machined or heat treated. 1144 Stress Relieved/StressProof® round bar stock is available in full-size and custom-cut lengths.

StressProof® is a trademark of the LaSalle Steel Corporation.
