If your project calls for expanded or perforated sheet, you'll need U-edging for the finished product. U-edge trim adds safety to rough or sharp edges and a more polished look. Online Metals has 18-gauge 1018 carbon steel U-edging made to fit all our expanded and perforated sheet products.
Benefits of 1018 Carbon Steel U-Edging include safer handling of the finished product by protecting against sharp edges caused by shearing expanded/perorated sheet. In addition, Carbon Steel U-Edging adds a more attractive, polished appearance
Easy installation: Attaching the u-edging to expanded or perforated sheets is done by pressing/press-fitting. Simply place the U-edging over the sheet and apply pressure to the conjoined pieces to produce a tight fit.
Our U-edge also can be welded in place. Available in standard sizes and custom-cut lengths.
