Copper 145 round bar, also known as Tellurium Copper, is specifically engineered for applications requiring excellent machinability while retaining good electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance. By adding small amounts of tellurium, this alloy significantly improves chip formation and cutting performance compared to pure copper grades like 101 and 110, making it ideal for high speed machining operations. While maintaining similar mechanical properties to unalloyed copper, 145 offers a more efficient and cost effective solution for precision components that require both conductivity and ease of fabrication.
