A2 oversize tool steel square bar is an air hardening alloy supplied slightly oversized to allow for machining and precision grinding after heat treatment. Known for excellent dimensional stability and balanced wear resistance, A2 oversize square bar is ideal for tools and components requiring tight final tolerances. The oversize condition provides a smooth starting surface and enough material for achieving exact finished dimensions without distortion.

Applications: Punches, dies, precision spacers, tooling blocks, industrial knives.
