Kydex-T
Kydex T Product Guide
Applications | Mechanical Data
Overview
Kydex® T is a proprietary thermoplastic designed to be similar to ABS and PVC but with superior fire retardant qualities and significantly higher impact strength and extensibility. It is less hygroscopic, easy to form, doesn't typically require pre-drying, and offers a greater resistance to a broad range of corrosive chemicals and cleaning solutions. Kydex T is commonly used for mass transit vehicle interior components, equipment housings, aircraft interiors, electrical equipment, and in-store displays. KYDEX® is a trademark of Sekisui SPI.
